I hate getting tagged with memes…and so it is that I find myself being tagged after such a long time avoiding it. Maybe this is retribution for my recent, playful jab at the acronym for a certain other blog. So be it. :P

So, this certain meme goes like this: Pull up Wikipedia and search for your birthday. Find three notable historic events that occurred on that day, two notable births (besides yourself), one death, and one holiday. Tag five people to do the same.

3. 1967 - The Outer Space Treaty, signed on January 27 by more than sixty nations, enters into force.

Notable Births:

1. 1917 - Thelonious Monk, American jazz pianist (d. 1982)
2. 1924 - Ed Wood, American filmmaker (d. 1978)

Notable Deaths: - I picked two because I remember this day and these two deaths. It sucks to be sad on your 14^th birthday.

1. 1985 - Yul Brynner, Russian-born actor (b. 1920)
2. 1985 - Orson Welles, American director and actor (b. 1915)

Notable Holiday:

1. Old Michelmas - Celtic holiday - For those who know me, it’s kind of obvious why I picked this holiday. ;)
